Rubina Ali, who just co-starred in Slumdog Millionaire, was supposedly going to be sold by her father for $400,000 but was caught by an undercover reporter. I believe every bit of it. Right after the movie was released there were reports that the parents of the children who starred in the movie were complaining that they didn't make enough money.
