After reading the headline, "WOODSTOCK Turns 40", on MSN I had to do a little research. When you think of Woodstock you think a funkadelic celebration of peace and unity and love and happiness and freedom, Jimi Hendrix and HIPPIES!
And if you know me, you know that's my thanggg. But anyways, back to the research..........It began in 1969 and 2009 marks it's 40th anniversary. I didn't even know Woodstock was still going on! As far as the musical aspect, I don't know shit about the artist. Jefferson Starship? Canned Heat? Mountain? Any of the bands of those bands ring a bell? NO, right? haha So maybe I'm not ready to experience Woodstock or the mud........
Tonya + mud in my hair= no bueno. But I do believe in ultimate peace and the first step to conquering peace is finding peace within yourself. If that makes any sense? I'm sorry I'm on a rant.
