Last Thursday was Fashion's Night Out in NYC. It was an awesome event put together to raise money for charity. This is how it worked: people shopped and a percentage of what they spent was donated to charity. (that's how it should always be) The streets of Soho were filled with beautiful people. I was really impressed with everyone's choice of fashion. One thing I can say about New Yorkers is that we
love our black. I chose to spend the evening at the BBC/ICE CREAM store with GINGER. The theme was "Cupcakes and Champagne". How cool! I demolished my cupcake before I could snap a picture of how pretty it was :( Pharrell = the most awesome, intelligent, positive person I will probably ever come in contact with. He's passionate. I can read it all over him. I have so much respect this guy. DIGGY, PHILLIP LEEDS, and the twins DEE & RICKY were among the crowd. Along the way I peeped CUDI freestyling at BAPE and crowded by tons of people, RACHEL ROY looking absolutely gorgeous at her store on Spring Street, and ESTELLE. That chick is so down!

By the end of the night my feet were killing me. I was running around for 6hrs in these babies:

On top of that I had to pee like a race horse. I had to pee so bad I had to do breathing exercises to keep my composure. Now, that's real shit! So I took my 30 minute trip back uptown to my new spot in Harlem where the streets were completely empty, but so full. I got rained on and I didn't even care. Sorry I'm not part of that stereotype of a black girl. I don't care if my hair gets wet. The rain makes me feel FREE. I took off my glitter....you know, the makeup-the heels-the two finger ring and leather jacket and became myself again :) I peed a glorious pee, lit my oil burner, tied up my hair, did laundry, walked around naked with the blinds OPEN. I could have gone for a nice round of Wii Tennis, but my Wii connect is in Philly. Wack!
